Where do I park?
Parking is available on the street in front of the gallery, and in the parking lot behind our building (entrance is situated between Dairy Queen and People’s Organic) Additionally, the 2 southern most parking stalls of Glenn’s Minnoco Gas Station (facing the south east corner of our building) may also be used by our clients when parking is congested.
I’ve parked in the back, may I use your back door?
You would be entering our work room and due to how seriously we take our responsibility to safeguard the personal belongings of our clients as we work on them, we prefer you enter through our front door. If you need help carrying something in, knock and we will be happy to assist.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express
How do I keep in touch with what you are doing?
Like us on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter or Instagram. Or click here if you are interested in being invited to our art events, we will need your name, a phone number, street address, and email address.
How do you find your artists?
We actively scout for unique talent to share with our guests. We also review artist portfolios throughout the year. If you are interested in seeking representation, we ask that you first come to the gallery as a guest and assess both how your work fits our venue and how your experience was as a visitor. If you feel there is compatibility, we then ask that you make an appointment and plan to bring several pieces for us to review.
How do you work with your artists?
Our working arrangement is negotiated privately with each artist.
Do you host artist receptions?
Yes, we host about 3 themed group shows each year, one of which is always a social awareness exhibition. Our gallery display rotates about every 8 weeks. We encourage frequent visits, but if you are on a quest for specific works, we have working relationships with several hundred local artists and can assist you in your art search.
I like a piece of art, but I am just not sure. Can I take it home first?
Yes, we offer a flexible Art on Approval process to help you live with the art for a couple of days before having to commit to a decision to purchase.
How much does framing cost?
Your project’s price is dependent on many factors like size, frame selection, type of glass, mounting processes, and other unique conditions. We encourage you to stop in with your project and design the piece using components you are truly excited about and then we will quote a price for you. Once we’ve established a design that pleases you, if necessary, we can further explore our many options to meet any specific budget concerns.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk ins are welcomed and encouraged. But if you are more comfortable setting an appointment- we are happy to accommodate.
Will someone help me choose frames, mats and design layout?
Yes, this is what we have built our reputation and business on. We love the process and it is exciting to teach our clients how different colors, textures, and techniques direct their eye through the piece.
What do I need to bring with me to design my piece?
Technically, you only need to bring the piece itself. But if you wish to bring along a photo of the space, or perhaps measurements of the space; (if it is limited in any way) these do prove helpful. Some of you may be more comfortable bringing color, flooring, and fabric swatches. While these help inform the context where your piece will hang, they are not entirely necessary. Most of your frame design is inspired by the piece itself. But you can bring whatever makes you feel most comfortable in your decision making process.
Will you work with my existing frame?
Yes, whether you have an antique frame, one already on a piece, or a store bought frame, bring it in so we can design with it in mind and build it to same level of excellence that we give our custom frame options.
Can I just purchase mats or glass from you?
Certainly, just be sure to bring the project and frame in so we can arrive at a stellar design and get accurate measurements to complete the project without challenge.
Do you offer conservation framing?
Yes, all of our mats are acid free. We have museum quality mount and glass options and we are trained in archival methods of art preservation.
Do you ever have framing coupons?
We want to earn your framing business long term, not because we have offered the allure of a discount. By design we choose to offer our frame services at a fair price every day and assure our clients they are receiving our best price any time they choose to come in. On occasion our loyal custom frame customers will receive a frame offer-just our way of saying ‘thank you’ for your continued support of us. We also have a Referral Rewards program that helps you benefit from sharing about us.
